How does one know if the carrier bearing for he long bed driveshaft trucks are bad?

When I put the truck in drive and have it idle and slowly move forward, I can hear a squeaking noise, going on and off, like as the driveshaft is turning.....

sounds like the same problem I was having. Ended up being one of the front U joints, and the rear U joint. ...these lil guys also caused 2 pinion seals to leak. and after a trip to the stealership to get it all fixed, they somehow jacked up my rear ring and pinion and another pinion seal! Luckily it was all under warranty so it cost me $100 for everything.
