#1 DMV is a seperate deal from NJ state Law, so it really doesnt matter what DMV says. #2 Your GVW on your door tag is what the truck is suppose to be registered at, whatever it rolls off the showroom is what its suppose to be #3 Technically your suppose self inspect your vehichle before you drive it every single time cuz on big rigs technically you are suppose to, then you wide tires and tint etc. you wouldnt drive it cuz you wouldn't pass yourself.
