It grenaded it thursday. i was on my way home pullin my horses, and it started slipping like mad when i was climbing this hill. had to put it in 4lo to get to the top. Got to the top and let it cool just enough to be able to take off and coast down the mountain to the next town. I was stuck 200 miles from home with my horses and a unmovable truck and 95 degrees. So after a long two days of getting another truck out there to get my horses home and driving back that night with a flatbed to get my truck i finally got it to a buddies shop to drop the tranny. When i dropped the tranny, the facing amterial fell out like a mouse nest and one of the fins dropped down. I totally grenaded that thing. Well while i was stuck i ordered a just a quickie clutch to get me moving as i have to drive the truck to work on monday. well once i get the clutch and measure it...its only 12" and i need the 13" clutch, sooo im down for another week since every store in town will have to order. So i might as well go with a Valair or Southbend. Im torn between the two and need dynamite evidence as to which one to get. I will have to call and talk to both on monday and hopefully i can get it to my house by next friday. Ill have pics in a couple days. At least i got towed home by a 96 12v lol4
