Thats why you leave a little wire hooked up like 18 gauge or something, that way you dont lose all your settings on your truck but if it trys to turn over with the switch off it wont have enough juice, it just sits and clicks a couple of seconds like a dead battery or something, i have this on my truck and am very happy with the results.
