Spacers go between the rear wheel and either just sit there freely or the better ones actually bolt to the inside wheel and the actual studs of the truck and then have their own studs that the outer wheel can bolt to from there. You can see some pics on ebay of some or here is a link to some better ones that alot of people I know use on their truck including me Beware of the ones on ebay though---some of those can be cheap and junk.
