According to my shop foreman they use a Mopar cleaner which is a water based cleaner. As he also said it would also be safe to use dishwasher soap and water and blow it dry before using. Which is what I did and there has been no ill effects in 100,000 since the delete was performed. since there has been no more soot added to the intake there also has been no further requirement to clean it again, I guess if palmolive is mild enough for hands but tough on dirt it should also work on soot. LOL
