I don't think you need more than about 5% kerosene... About 1-2 Gallons tops... The kerosene is going to reduce the lubricity of the fuel even more... So it will enhance the wear on fuel pumps and other parts.
If it was me I drop a quart of 2 cycle oil on top to help re-lube up the fuel again... But that is only me tho...
