Hauling a backhoe up north to dig a septic tank at the cabin. Using a triple axle trailer. Cruising about 70, my buddy was with me and it was one of those long quiet moments between us, anyway, my buddy says, " hey look, somebody lost a tire...." I look over and sure enough, a tire was passing me in the oncoming lane. I started laughing and said "sure enough, someone did lose a tire". I started looking in my rear view and all around to see who lost it. Then I realized, we were the only ones on the road. I looked at my buddy and said" hell, thats our tire!" I never did see that tire stop. It finally went off the road and kept going till it wasnt visible to the naked eye, busted through a couple barb wire fences. It was funny as heck. Luckily, we were able to keep going.
Not very scary, but its the best I could do. My towing experiences usually go uneventful. Knock on wood.
