You can pull the inners in, too, if you can weld and have a drill press. Those flares look slick. I heard you could make 'em fit, but wasn't convinced. Mebbe I'll have to order a set. I clear 35x12.5 (315x75r16) on mine with a leveling kit and the rear wheel mod.
I used to run this size with 2" spacers on the rears, but the width and funky flexy flares convinced me to find another way. I like the width on the tires for floating the frontend. If your new mudders are squirmy on narrow rims, sometimes it is because only the center lugs are contacting the pavement. Take a look at the tread, and air down as necessary to offset this. Using narrow rims, with wider tires has a tendency to pull the outside lugs off the pavement. Airing down just a little may help make them contact evenly. ESPECIALLY on the rear.
