I had the same thing happen to my 01...but it had to be changed out...it was wore right out...or so my mechanic said lol...I asked him if i could just reset it and leave it and he said ya but if and when it goes for good it will go to an idle in an instant and if yourr doin 60 mphwell i wouldnt wanna see that lol...although ive never heard of that happening to anyone..still wouldnt wanna take the chance...so i replaced it
