anyone know a link that breaks down the engine kinda like the dealer parts books?

If you contact your local Cummins Distributor...ask them for a "Customized Parts Catalog" for your engine. You'll need to supply the Engine Serial Number (ESN) and they can get you either a printed parts catalog for your exact engine - or I believe it can be put on a a CD-ROM too. It will cost ya though....not sure of the pricing but maybe $50??

Or perhaps try the Factory website Quickserve Online...they have a customer version of the site that Distributors and Dealers use to see content online too.

I believe there is a website somewhere that has an exploded view of the engine ,but I can't recall where it is. I'll see if I can dig it up.
