How to Remove Injectors

Okay I want to remove my injectors and install some 40 or 80hp So before I start this crazy project does anyone have pics or instructions to do this? Who should I go with Industrial or DDP? Should Install the Bag of parts from industrial? Do I need to put a programmer for this mod?

IMO, for that injector size, the bag of parts might not be necessary sine the 6.7 CP3 has a higher flow rate but it could help. As far as what brand... everybody has there own opnions. A programmer may not be necessary but it would help gain the full potential of the injectors. An upgraded turbo would also show great improvements in conjunction with the injectors. Hope this helps some.

they send you a tool for removing the nozzle tips themselves not the whole injector. and harvy4804 the have no aftermarket upgraded turbos yet for the 6.7. The injector instalation is pretty straight forward remove the valve cover high pressure lines then i think it is a 22 mm nut that holds the injcetor feed tubes into the side if the head, remove those then number your injectors 1,2,3 etc (the 6.7s remember the particular injector for that cylinder) then remove injector hold downs and pop them out. the tool the send you put in a vice and hole the injector body with and get a wrench (dont remeber what size) and break the nozzles off. then reverse order put new nozzles one and reinstall back in the truck remembering to put each injector back in the same cylinder torque to spec and your done. truck will crank for a few seconds to a minute then fire might run rough for a minute or two and smoke slightly but it will clear up... Hope this helps, i know its kind of a generic reply but there is rreally not that much too it!

Injectors are not that hard to install, didn't take pictures of it, but i am sure someone out there has some. And just so you know the bag of parts for the modified CP3 is not $350 as it says on the II website. It is $750 so expect to fork out double for it compared to the 5.9L.

$750 were did you get that info I was told $100 more than the 5.9 kit and when my card was charged by my warehouse they only charged the 5.9 price but they might have been charged $100 more from II and just screwed up charging me
