Limp Mode

Is there any other way than returning to the dealer to get a truck out of limp mode? Can the batteries be unhooked to reset the ECM?

Can't remember who it was on here, either Casey at H&S, or Shane at BADP, that said they could help get the truck out of limp mode. By looking at your sig, it looks like you run a little of both, so maybe try them. I could be wrong on this. I read so much about these trucks that I forget alot too, but might be worth a try.

From what I know, you would definatly know limp mode, and I think you'd be throwing some hard codes. Have you done anything different lately?

I'm not sure but my truck through the lighting bolt and lost power I assumed that was limp mode. My edge cleared it twice and no problems so far

If you find someone with a starscan they can get you out of limp mode what codes do you have as long as you don't have dpf soot or ash accumulation and dpf system performance together you shouldn't be in limp mode and about one third of the time with the ligting bolt light it will derate the truck just let it sit for about 10 min shut off and it will clear up its self
