remove dpf

planning to remove dpf. i know some of you guys have already done this. what all is is involved. i want to try egr delete too. are there any cons doing egr. i might want to put back on for warrenty.

so far with the EGR some people are getting a fuel knock, some dont seem to be. Others have problems just put it all back on. No harm done. Its not a perfect science yet. As for the DPF delete there is no cheap way, you must buy a kit and so far only BADP (Deleteddpf.com) and H&S Performance (hsperformance@hotmail.com) are making kits. They are fairly simple to install and you have a lot of options.

my truck is 6.7 mega cab auto. i have juice att. are they something i can do to trasmission to avoid slip when i want to play like you are doing. i heard about conv. and cluches but dont know very much about tran.

there are a couple of upgraded TC's out there for the 68 but no full trans upgrades that i know of, the edge should not be a problem as it monitors slippage and will defuel before there are too many problems, i have had my edge in for 20k now and no issues, just don't tow heavy over level 1.:thumbsup
