Hi.
Thought i share the build of my compound setup. Hope i can give all you guy's some ideas and hopefully get some tips on the way. you have to forgive my spelling an gramma some times, since i am from Sweden.
I travel alot in work the truck are in use all the time, so i try to prepare so much i can before i tare it apart.
The list of thing's i plan is:
Garrett GTX4508r With a Tial 1.16 housing(primary)
Garrett GT3788r With a rebuilt nongated 0.99 T4 housing (secondary)
2pcs Tial 44mm wastegate
Stainlessdiesel T4 manifold
5" exhaust system
Exergy 60% over injector's
Ats twin cp3
Hamilton 188-220 108LSA cam
Hamilton 110lbs spring's
Devil's own water meth kit
Fass 150gph Titanium ser.
ATS stage4 68rfe
Probably forgot something and there will be more on the way.

Got my manifold and welded the inner radius so i could portmatch it to T4 twinentry gasket

Did the same to the turbo.

Had some different ideas how to connect the wastegate and ended up with this.
This way it goes with the flow..

Second wastegate i'm not sure i will use but now i have a easy option:confused013:

Still have some piping left to do but it feel's great to started.

Oops! This maybe a little to long, but if you think it's ok i will update everytime i go forward:S:

Here is the 3788r T4 housing, came from a Scania.

I've been lurking here for many year's and learned alot from this forum.

If i were you i would do rods also
I plan having around maybe 700whp so i hope i don't need to get internal yet.
Try to have as god drivability as possible.

Finished the downpipe today.

Made a v-band for the compressor housing an welded it.

Now i have to sandblast everything and get them coated, unfortunately i don't have a blasting cabinet so i have to wait until monday.

Bought a new spraygun so i will coat manifold and downpipe with Ceracrome and the turbine with Turbinecoat.

Got my powdergun and a box of colors today from Eastwood, had to go out and buy a inverter from 240v to 110v

And a nice box from ATS outside just waiting to get in.

My buil has started.

Beautiful work with the piping. Is the wastegate on the pipe between the two turbos going to dump into the exhaust pipe?

Yes, with proper tuning i probably not have to use it, But it feels good to have the possibility either for finetuning or maybe try a little nitrous.

Been sick all weekend so i haven't done anything, will continue tomorrow..

I am never sick, but now when i took 2 week's free from work i've been in bed
almost 5 day's:banghead:
But i got my kompressorhousing's and one turbine housing blasted today.
Got the t-housing coated and was a little brighter than i hope'd but...
Image

K-housing ready for powdercoat.
Image

As seen on the pictures i really need to take a day to clean up some:hehe:
Image

Have to get out and find me a used oven for curing the powdercoat, my wife disagree with me in using the kitchen oven:buttkick:
She wasn't so happy when she came home and i washed 4 mickey thomsen wheels in the bubble bath....

Have to ask if anyone know's if this part is possible to buy or is it integrated in the hole panel?

Sorry!! Just took a picture from google:spank:
Mine i a 6.7.
But i am trying to figure out a nice way of intergrating some small gauges.

#23 ·
I better put in a picture from my own:hehe::hehe:
Image

I have seen that and it's very nice, but i think i maybe will try to integrate it a little bit more. Also plan to use 1 1/2" gauges just for pressure. The rest info needed will be a 7" pad in the sunvisor.

regardless i realy apreciate you trying to help:thumbsup:

Mostly running around and doing nothing now:banghead:.
Have to go back to work tomorrow so it's not going to happen so much now and two week's forward.
But i have to powdercoat my komp-house and can't deside wich colors to use.
Since the turbine house became a little brigheter than i hoped for my original plan with cast aluminium powder is a little boring?
I have translucent blue to match the wastegate's
Image

Or smoked chrome, think i will have this on the cold pipe's
Image

Or just stay with the plan and use cast alu?
Image

I want it clean and proper not "to much"

Sorry!:hehe:
But i am still at work. Work in Norway so i be home at Saturday...

The last week's i did not have the productivity i hoped for.
Had a lot of other thing's i had to do.
Offcourse the used owen i bought was broke:banghead: Must have one for curing the powdercoat and ceramic coating.
But that gave me time to remeber to drill new hole's for EGT and pressure probe's in the manifold..
Image

Other than that i have started preparation of the summer wheels. Wet-sanding and polish.
Image

Image

Since the truck don't fit in my garage i have to do all work outside so i am waiting for a little warmer wether to come.

I am getting more and more eager to start tearing the truck apart,
but it's still to cold here:banghead:
So i got nothing of importence to show you. I've coated the hotpipe and exhaustmanifold not with chromex but instead with turbinecoat.
Not as nice but i did not find any owen i can afford that goes up to 700F.
So all i got is some new pictures of the truck.
