Alright i have a fun idea.. Maybe the mods will delete it but i can assure you im not trying to advertise.. I have seen maybe 10 threads in the last month about "who do i get to tune my EFI" so i thought id start out a helpful poll.. Ive thought of about as many as i could, if i forget some im sorry, ill put a "other" vote in there and you can comment.. If it gets deleted by mods, oh well haha..
people with 5.9's are welcome to answer too!

I like it. Good idea. Do need some comments. But no massive cheerleading. Just something simple or unique about your experience with your tuner. Don't want the thread cluttered with one person going crazy..

No matter what anyone tells you. If you're not happy with something in your tune, like EGT, your tuner should be willing to do what it takes to fix it.
I was told 1700-1800* for 15 seconds wont hurt anything. But its my truck, my engine, my pistons, my money. I dont want my egt to ever be that high. It is my choice. If I dont want over 800 then it should be tuned that way.
Dave does my tunning now, we are still fine tuning, but a massive improvment so far. I have to try to get to 1325*. No matter what I do I cant get above 1350 unloaded. Much better for me and what I want from my truck.
Dave also tunned my TCM. I have a suncoast 68JR and have never been happy with it. I wanted to buy a different trans. Dave suggested that I let him tune the tcm before I spend the money. Said if I didnt like his trans tuning he would refund my money no questions asked. Well dave was right. The changes he made were spot on. The trans feels solid now. And I am happy with my trans now. Until I have another mechanical failure again.
One thing about Dave I have noticed is that when your having problems he is there with you, either on the phone, email or taking control of your computer and walking you through something. He takes his time to make sure you understand what is going on and that you are happy with everything.
Thanks Dave for having some of the best customer service in the game. Now get to work!

Ryan Milliken tunes mine it runs great and smokes way less than my XRT Pro. I'm going to dyno in the morning so we'll see what it puts down. I'm hoping for at least 500.
My tuner is horrible. It took him 7 month to get me a tune done for my truck and it runs no better than stock...
Oh wait... I'm my tuner... damn it....
It's been an interesting learning experience. I have a long way to go to get this figured out but hopefully after Starlite's class in March, I'll make forward progress a little faster...
