Has anyone stacked programers and chip and are running the 6 speed manual? Just wondering about the results and if you had to work on the tranny yet? I'm running the SC now but am looking at adding the Edge Juice with Attitude.

I've got a couple of local guys running a Juice/mp-8 stack with their g56's. They'll slip the clutch if both are turned all the way up. A new clutch will be in your future if you stack and want to take advantage off all the power.

i was running a dr. performance box and a bully dog triple dog it held for a few months of hard driving then one day it just let go... i went with a valair ceramic clutch and i love it... you have the g56 tranny i would go with the nv56 flywheel so you dont have to run the dual mass clutch and flywheel... alot cheaper... valair sells the kit...
i had a local guy here as well stack the edge w/ an MP8, his clutch only lasted about 2months after that. to be honest your almost better off pulling the truck off the lot and putting a clutch in it, i had a customer w/ an 06 that went through 3 factory clutches before switching to a SouthBend he even got the dealer to replace it under warranty.

My g56 started slippin when I got the juice, if I took the backdown off I could slip it in level 4, clutch couldn't hold up to the hot mode at all, I also stacked a dr.p box when I still had stock clutch, got a good deal on it, my sbc dd took care of the slippin, it also got rid of the crappy dual mass flywheel.

I can slip my clutch in stock format while plowing a load through the snow or in the muddy conditions ... I would definately expect that a programer would do it on the street.
Ill let you know next week how itll hold up to a Mp-8 PMT stack, Trust me if theres a week spot in a vechial ill find it. I had a 02 dmax with a hot edge and ppe on it the stock tranny held for 20k miles of gettin the crap kick outta it, before she blew, along with the turbo. I got a good dealer, so if i fry mine ill get the stocker put in til i get my dual disk. These trucks will eat a single disk, Peter said he wouldnt even bother instaling a single.
