I have a 2011 2500 laramie longhorn and 4000 cash saved up to put into it. I would appreciate a little input on where to start and what kind of mods to watch out for. I have used the search function and found alot of useful info. Now just wondering where to start. Thanks for any advice or opinions you guys can offer. I am new to this forum but I can say this is probably thee best resource tool available.

Really depends on ur hp goal. Full deletes will open it up alot. Then u could always do fuel and air improvements from there for more power.

After all deletes are done what kind of air/fuel mods do I open myself up to?
Like cumminaround already stated we need a goal of yours to help you shoot for we can recommend alot of things but depending on hp goals and what you tow regularly all this can play a huge part in you buying parts. Like for instance if you have a lot of parts you want to get we could recommend cheaper easier to install products. For instance a 4" exhaust that leaves everything post dpf in place. or I can tell you of a place to get a full egr delete for cheaper than what all other vendors on here sell them for

If the ats copilot was out for the 2011s, I would say get that in place of the nozzles. It's more important for your trans. Maybe if you have a few extra bones, get the OVerdrive software from H&s if you decide to go with their tuning. (I highly recommend H&S. Good company and best tuning for the 4th gens IMO)

I'd say you could safely do a nice tuner like a Smarty, after you're bored with that it's tranny time and head studs before you get to have the big boy toy fun.

Im still somewhat new to diesels but do a lot with turbo imports but would bigger nozles put this turbo out of it MAP or can it handle it? and as far as the 68 goes in order to invest 4000 into the motor is there any hard parts I should look into? what would you recomend for a lift pump?
Insane: I guess my goals are pretty open as far as power. Reliability is a concern of mine I don't want to compromise that. I have a budget and would like to stay somewhat close to but in regard to towing I pull a 30'lift camper or a 28' enclosed car trailer a couple times a month.
