Flying to Dallas to pick up my 08 Lifted megacab. Engine is completely stock....for now! Has a 4.5" suspension lift with 37" tires. Auto trans. Now what to do?? I am guessing a 5" exhaust. Want a good, descently loud, exhaust. A cold air intake and a smarty. Also adding bushwacker fender flares and A-Pillar gauges. Now my question is where to order from and how much will it cost and what brands?? Wanting to remove the turbo silence ring also for the "whistle". Help me out folks!!
Post up what you want in the vendors price request section and any of the very helpful and friendly vendors on this site will be able get you a price. As for the silencer ring if you feel comfortable with drilling into your turbo to drill out rivets then go ahead

If i had it to do over i wld have kept my stock air intake and just removex the baffles. Same effect, saves coin for other mods. Or if u want, i have a banks ram air intake i'd sell ya.
Smarty, guages, airdog/fass, intake horn, head studs, turbo, manifold, cp3, sticks. The list goes on and on. Just pick a stopping point and ur good to go.
One really good piece of advice. The 6.7 is a beast of a cummins but the hg is stupid weak. Make sure it is completely warm, turn ur smarty up till she smokes and then down one. Don't over tune it, don't romp on it cold. And if u have the funds throw some head studs on asap. Hg is somewhat of a pita to replace, and about 1500 if ur gonna pay someone to do it. Good luck, welcome to the club.
with that heavy of a truck and thoses big tires. I would look into some trans mods. like a tuned tcm etc. every thing else sounds great. i also recomend james at rolling smoke.thanks Mopar71

Black Maxx or Mini Maxx for a tuner. Shift on the fly and all the gauges you'll need all in one and tranny tuning. Welcome to the 20th century of diesel tuning.
