I am running the Edge Juice with the attitude monitor. It is about 4 years old and the monitor has been going blank. The entire unit went out once. Anyone else have these problems? If I need to replace it, what programmer should I choose. I have an old delete and need to clear the codes and am running an MP-8 stacked. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I had the same issue with my edge display a couple months ago. I'm pretty sure it was the connector for the display that was just a little loose or maybe had a bit of dirt/moisture in it. I pulled most of the connectors apart and cleaned them as well as checked power and ground connections. Display has been working fine ever since.
Try that out and see what happens. Hope it works for you.

If you buy an H&S or Smarty tuner you won't need to clear codes or need the MP-8. You could sell the MP-8 for a couple hundred and recoop some of the money back. Plus get better milage,less smoke,and lower egt's.
I have an insight and mine does this as well every day the unit will completely shut off and I sent the unit to edge they could not find a problem so they sent a whole new unit and cable problem still persists what me and edge came to a conclusion is that what is happening is that the obd port is losing the data communication cause the unit sees no data communication is shuts down and basically its not the units problem its my pickups problem

I had an Edge Juice CS that had a faulty display as well. The Edge Tech said it was a faulty display back light power supply. I sent my display in and they replaced the power supply so the display worked again. Problem was, the CS display wouldn't connect to the Juice once I got it back. Edge said to send it all in again including wiring harness. At that point I just decided to buck up and get the CTS Race Juice and everything is golden now.
You won't be able to upgrade to the Race Juice as that has very recently been discontinued but you could prolly upgrade to the CS if you like. If you're gonna change programmer, H&S or Smarty are the two to go with. And H&S makes display units for their products as well. The CS upgrade would be your cheapest solution I do believe (call Edge and you might get a good discount for a faulty Attitude display?).

This may sound ridiculous, but I had a similar problem. I was just about to send my Edge back, when I realized that it was my new sunglasses that were making my display look as though it was blank. When I took my glasses off I had no problem, the funny part was that I had made two twelve hour drives, delivering for my business before I figured out what was going on. Just a thought.
Now that's funny, right there... I don't care who you are.
