white smoke

I have an 08 with some extensive mods. ive never had any trouble with it and i partly believe this is because i am a firm believer in preventive maintenance. so my problem is that today when i cranked it at approx. 7:30 PM i noticed just a slight bit of white smoke come out of the exhaust at the initial startup for maybe a fraction of a second and then nothing just good clear exhaust. the temp was 75F and had gotten down in the 40s last night, the wait to start coils did not illuminate so i didnt wait to start it. this was the first start up since yesterday as i car pooled to work today. i dont think its anything at all really i just want to make sure. i know my old powerstrokes i used to have would boil out white smoke at initial start up due to poor glow plugs and cold fuel, however my old goat as i call it has no glow plugs. any ideas or am i just being over protective?

My 09 does it almost every morning when its cool outside. Shouldnt be anything to worry about if it just puffs when you start it up.

Probably nothing to worry about but if it's antifreeze, your exhaust will smell kinda sweet.
