dpf full

Anybody have any ideas? Running 100 ohm resistors in place of egt sims and dpf full came up on overhead today. Been running them for about 2000 miles and havent had any problems. Think I need to build the pressure sim for the pressure sensor?

Unless you have an Edge to clear codes on startup, those pressure sensors will give you problems. Or you can buy a Black Maxx, XRT, or Smarty and not worry about any of that.

Code clearing is not required for the Pressure sim.
Pressure Sim is not required when using the 100 ohm resistors (per H&S)

If you are seeing a DPF full message with the 100 ohm sims, I suggest you take them off and test them with a meter. Then put them back on. Clear codes with a reader. Then see what you got. Sounds like either one has gone bad (open) or a bad connection at the connector.

Yes.

As far as the DPF full message, I suggest contacting H&S. They are the ones that developed the use of the 100 ohm sims. Supposed to set the temp so High that the ECM will never ever try to regen, per their posts & the EGT sims tch article.

so H&S has a kit for that Pressure Sensor plug ? cause i just order the down pipe and delete pipe and the sims kit for the 3 egt plugs on the dpf but im confused on the one plug with the boost tube sensors. i heard they dont make a resister kit for that, that you have to make your own if you had the over head lamp come on that says dpf full.

No, I'm sorry if I confused you. Nobody makes the Pressure SIM. Shibby was working on something. Nothing yet though. The big issue is nobody makes the connector. The mating connector to the cable is ONLY part of the pressure sensor. Look in my signature at the DIY thread for how I built mine.

alright. i looked that how you made the pressure senesor would it matter if i used a 120ohm 1/2watt and a 390ohm 1/2watt cause i couldnt find a 110ohm resister. and does it matter witch way you plug them into the plug?

How they are plugged in ys matters. Note in the pics I marked pin 1. I'm not sure if 120 ohm would work. You could put a 100 & a 10 in series to make the 110 ohms.

so then the 110 resister is at the bottom as if you had the connector plugged/??

Look at these pics for guidance.

Rotate this picture to see Pin 1 is the one with the black mark.
