I'm going to purchase a Stainless 467.7 2nd gen swap kit within the next week but I'm undecided on what ar housing to go with...I know the .9 or the 1.0 is going to be better with spooling but I'd like to save the $200 and go with the 1.1. I'd rather spend the $200 towards getting the manifold polished. Thoughts?!?!?
H&S tuner, g56 south bend DD 3250, pusher intake and grid heater delete, 4 inch MBRP exhaust, fuel rail plug, and FASS 150. I'd like to be around the 750 hp mark after I'm done with it all. I know it'll take more fuel but I've heard the manuals can run bigger a/r housings...even on stock fueling.
With a 464 just get the .9. The compressor side of one of those doesn't support enough to choke an 83/.9 turbine side.
