Question Edge Juice with Att / 08 2009 build date / rough startup and idle

Just installed an Edge Juice with Attitude on a new truck with a build date of 8/09. The truck now has a rough start and a rough idle for the first few minutes. It also seems as if the timing is increased and then decreased during the first few minutes (rattles a little and then stops, off and on for a while)
Any ideas, I've read about removing the butterfly valve but not sure what the solution is or why it is doing this.
Any insight is appreciated,
Mike

Yeah, sounds like you need to remove the butterfly valve or even easier, just remove the butterfly valve gear. Here is the tech article.

I just noticed you can only do this if you don't have a Smarty or XRT. I'm planning on getting a smarty so I guess I'll have to reinstall mine when I get it.
