P2454 & Smarty

Trying to get code free and I still get this one, have re-installed twice, checked everything and can not get rid of this code. When I clear the code with the smarty it will not take it away. You can check for DTC's after you delete it and it is still there. Any advice? Thanks for your help I know I have been posting a lot, thanks for all your help.

P2454 = Diesel Particulate Filter Pressure Sensor A Circuit Low

Make sure everything it says to unplug is unplugged, and make sure everything that is not supposed to be unplugged, is plugged in.

Also make sure if you're deleted that you have the DR12ME software downloaded onto your Smarty to be running code-free.

I think with the Smarty you need to have the pressure sensor hooked up, but the hoses removed from the pressure sensor. The P2454 is when you have the pressure sensor electrical connection unplugged. The other option is to have DIY resistors in place to fool the connection and make it think it is connected, but either way you have to have to connection made.

I believe you do have to have the pressure sensor hooked up.

Good call evan...That completely slipped my mind.

In speaking with Heath, he does not have sims and the pressure sensor is connected and hoses unplugged. He has tried to reinstall the program once and still getting the code.

when you say hoses unplugged, I still have the rubber ones on there taped up, however the steel lines are gone, do I need to remove them?
