your dash hawk will not read corectly cause the boost fooler it fools the computer reading thats why a mechanical gauge is needed for accurate readings with a fooler.... But mine i noticed more turbo noise and ALLOT more throttle response and got up and went way faster

If you dont have a mechanical gauge no other gauge will read right like edge pmt or dash hawk... people are talking about having lower boost numbers then before though in the other thread i in fact didnt feel lower boost or anything and i dynoed it and showed increase and brought it on faster!

I hate to run them and I hate the look, down here everybody will be trying to race me...
I understand what you guys are saying about the dashhawk not getting an accurate reading and YES its doing this with the other programmers, but I haven't tried EDGE yet...
But if the DASHHAWK is reading 31psi withthe superchips installed then in theory that number should not change with the Boost fooler installed... Correct or NOT???
But the number is changing, with both the Cortex and Boost fooler installed it is only holding 23psi, so even if the DASHHAWK doesn't see the extra 10-12psi that its adding, its still better to just run the Cortex by itself and hold at 31psi...
So at best with both of these units I am seeing a 4psi gain!!! WOW
But with the Cortex at Extreme I can hit 36psi and hold 33psi, so really I am gaining 1 psi running them together...

what do you not understand about your not seeing true boost if the boost fooler dosent tell the computer its low on boost then it will never hold the wastegate to higher boost and you should always have mechanical gauges when your moding your truck.. look at it this way if a sensor for the computers boost reading messes up and tells the computer you have no boost and your chip overfuels and your wastegate never opens and you blow your headgasket then how stupid are mechanical gauges then when you could have just shut er down

anything that reads off obd2 will not read correctly with a boost fooler I dont care if it is edge or what. I picked up nine pounds with the boost fooler The more fuel you have the better it will work
