edge juice attitude...now truck is bucking

i just installed a juice with attitude in my 2008 2500.. when i go full throttle in extreme mode the truck bucks crazy.. i dont know what to do.. the egt temps are showing 1500 then they back down to 1420 . i done a performance test 1/4 mile . the truck showed a 15.7 @ 90 mph..what could be wrong???.. the truck is 100% stock other then the edge and only has 1800 kms on it. thanks for your help...

what do you mean by bucking.....is it like kinda stalling....if so , that level 5 extreme is basically draining the fuel out of the rail....time to upgrade fuel system.

I would guess that it has something to do with your dpf. You better fill out your signature before people start to jump your @$$ for it.

it feels like A GAS engine with a bad coil wire...i hope this helps..

try to move ur max egt to 1550 and then move ur max boost to 45psi..... u may have ur defueling settings set to low............... or a better way, push enter twice and a screen will pop up and then hit enter again. This will shut off ur saftey features for 1 minute.... then run it WOT and see if it bucks.............. if it doesnt buck its that ur max settings are to low

i jut read the monitor and it said that backdown was 37%... what does this mean?...is this defueling? iam new to diesels, thanks for all the help..

yea it defueling........... that is what backdown is....... so it defueled 37% so ur max settings on ur egt's and boost are too low

i just went out and warmed up the truck...i tried a full throttle run and checked the guages again. backdown was at 100%. i raised the egt setting to 1550 and the boost to 45 , i tried another run and now the truck is fine . backdown was only 5%, i guess this is normal..yhanks for all your help..this site is a awesome place for info...

ur getting back down from ur egt's put it to 1600
