Well as you know I have had my Stage 1 CP3 kit, FPE turbo controller and boost gauge for awhile and I finally started it today.
It started off to a bad start and the intake gasket tore cause it was half stuck to the block and half to the intake. I have pulled it off like a dozen times. I guess it was about due. I order 3 new ones for the future. They were only $4.00 Canadian a piece.
I had to remove the intake horn in order to install the CP3 kit incase you were wondering. The kit would have taking like an hour to install but the fuel plate on the CP3 was a b!tch just cause you cant see it hardly and there is like no room. The one bottom screw close to the block gave me grief. I was getting angry but I got it all undone and the new one on. I hope the plates sittings right on the pump. If the plate leaks or the truck doesnt run I will know what I did wrong. I havent ran the truck yet because I dont have the new intake gasket till thursday so the intakes on the shelf.
I will start on cutting the controller in and wiring the boost gauge in tomorrow if I get some more motivation. I just thought I would let you guys know I got off my but. I am trying to get it done quick because its suppose to drop to -15C Friday. Dumb weather.

I am glad you are making progress....I am doing a stage 3 floor it....what did you go with?
Its Industrial Injections Stage 1 kit CP3(bag of parts). I hope I did that plate piece right cause I dont want to touch those torx screws again. I had to quit early tonight cause I was getting cranky.
Anybody know how to get the headlight knob assembly off? I need to pull it out to tap into the dimmer switch for my gauge. I dont want to break it. Hmmmm.... now I have to think where to mount my MP8 and FPE knob at.

II bag of parts isn't what its cracked up to be. Talk to floor it diesel. There "bag of parts" is alot better. I had the II and didnt do much, you can definently tell the difference between the two companys products.

biggest question out there, hasnt been proved yet though, there pretty much the same anyways you can only do so much on the stage one with the 3 pieces anyways.
