New headunit

I am wanting to go from my stock radio to a screen radio. I am wanting something that will still play my Sirius xm, play cd. I want to add nav and probably a back up cam. What all will I need? And what are some good radios to use?

Any of the major brands would work great. Alpine, Kenwood, Pioneer... Just look for one that has the features you want, then shop it to get the best price.

I used to be a die-hard Alpine fan however they have lost their way with the Imprint fiasco. Now I am waiting on this to use in my truck.

Look at my truck pics, I painted the double din bezel prior to the install, had the shop put in a Pioneer unit, has all the gadgets, never had a back up cam on any truck prior, now I am used to it and couldn't go without...lol

I got all my stuff to go from the stock radio to double din from crutchfield.com, they have a good selection to look through and will set you up with eveything you need. If you need a double din bezel check ebay or amazon.

What year truck to you have? Mine is a 2011 and I used to have a 1.5 Din size radio stock.

See this post for info and pics of what I did:

Pics look good. What all adapters do you have to have to make everything work?

I had mine done at a stereo shop so I don't know all the specifics. The speakers are all stock (sound way better with a higher power output now than stock), the steering wheel controls all work, sat radio, back up cam, nav, bluetooth hands free works perfect with my phone, installed an MTX amp with a 10" square kicker behind the seat.

If you have keyless remote, check out where the receiver is. On a lot of cars, the receiver is in the radio. I don't know if that is true for our Ram's, but I'd find out before you change it out.
