cab lights

Guys I got recon cab lights for Xmas. My truck doesn't have lights now so what are the odds that I already have a wiring harness for them

Yeah they are pretty easy to wire up. They ground out to the roof, so all you need is a hot wire on with your lights. You can either go in to the plug on the passenger side A pillar, or pick one under the dash.

you pretty much just tape a measuring tape to the top of your truck measure the spots and mark and drill the holes, some dealers have the templates for them, that they will let you use or buy.

The instructions in the Recon kit are for the measuring tape method. Worked fine for me. Nice and clear, lots of pictures.

Also, I had done 3 kits. 2 Friends and my truck. All three of their white connectors were JUNK! I cut them off and we spliced the wires together. The plug is on the passenger side A pillar. I believe its a white with green wire..

Hard to see but you can see three wires and the white wire is cut..

Man I was set on getting the oem cab lights from the dealer but those LED recon look killer on a black truck (which is what I have).

I saw a lot of threads about the recons leaking?? Did they change some thing to fix that?
