I saw a bezel that had the power slide button for the rear glass. I was curious whats all needed for a power slide rear window?? I never really had a chance to look at one but is it even possible to add it in a manual slide window?? From ones i have been in i never noticed any motor system but never looked at it..
I wish i had that option i know i would have to rid of my manual lock though

I haven't really looked at mine but I think it uses a pully system to make it slide back and forth.

2007.5 2500 White SLT quad cab 6.7 liter totally stock. Is the CEL supposed to stay on? 34,000 miles. 2nd stock turbo. white 3.73 rear differential ratio. J35 recall. 2 wheel drive. Plan on a DPF and EGR delete when I come up with the $$$$.
Where are the pulley set ups at behind the seat or between body panels?? Its probably too much to make happen but very interested if it could be done fairly easy

I am pretty sure the pulley and motor system is set up in behind the back seat probably behind some false panels or something. It can be too difficult to get to otherwise the *GENIUS* warranty guys wouldn't be able to handle it..

CONVENIENT THING ABOUT A CUMMINS TOWING CAPABILITY IS THAT IT CAN PULL ONE HECK OF A BANDWAGON. SO ALL YOU FORD AND CHEVY GUYS FEEL FREE TO JUMP ON.
Can it be added to a slider that dont have power then?

it looked to me like the outer edge of the power rear slider's window glass had all the routing for cable that moves it open/closed.. You prolly could rig it up somehow.. but it seems like i would be alot easier and a cleaner install if you just went with an aftermarket power rear slider.. Wouldnt want your $45k truck to look tacky just because you home made your power rear slider.. lol

haha i hear ya for sure... I will try to look at one here at a dealer or something and see exactly what your talking about, I understand i just want to see. Its not big deal but its just one of those nice features. I can reach mine from driver seat though.. thanks for replies, if i can do the factory one up clean install, i will get some prices and post em up
