Was not looking foward to having to drill and tap the exhaust plate but it was already done.
I am not sure I am going to use the plugs that came with the kit, I think I am going to use a 3/4" heater hose instead. Any ideas on this?
About how long should it take to install this kit?
Thanks

I am guessing by the lack of replies no one has installed a EGR / COOLER DELTETE KIT yet?

After waiting for alittle help on a time frame on installing the H&S EGR/COOLER delete kit, with ZERO replies I figured out nobody has intstalled one yet so I did it myself and I sure do not mined posting the outcome.
This thing only took me 1 hour total time to remove the old crap and install the H&S egr/cooler delete kit and this included running to the parts store for a piece of 3/4 heater hose, clamp and coolant. Leak free and going for a test drive to see if I notice anything different or not.
So far I noticed alittle more snap from idle and a bit deeper tone.

The 1 hour was to remove the egr cooler, egr valve and crossover pipe, then install both blockoff plates, run to parts store for a pice of 3/4 heater hose (for a bypass instead of blockoff) top off coolant and checking for leaks.
1 hour for complete job start to finish and including taking phone calls in between too.

I took a piece of preformed heater hose with a 90 in it it works perfect and looks much cleaner then a straight piece of hose. It also keeps the hose below the coolant vent.

Was going to try that but the retard at the parts store could not figure out how to come up with a 90 without looking up a vehicle....
I did run mine alittle long to make nice smooth turns out of the way of everything and as far as the coolant vent, I could not brake mine lose to try and bleed it.

The parts house idiot tried that with me too. I could see the hose hanging on the wall and just told him to give that one to me. He couldn't tell me how much regular heater hose was without a part number or vehicle to put into the computer.
As for the vent, mine was stuck too. It's important to get all the air out. I just tapped the top of it with a hammer and with a Lil muscle it broke lose.
It is after you delete the egr cooler on your truck. Some delete kits simply block off the coolant lines and some charge extra for the preformed line (up to $30 extra). If u just buy a heater hose with a preformed 90 in it (make sure it is long enough) then just put it on instead of blocking it off
I didn't take any pics of the delete cause there are some already on here. I can take some of the finished product and the hose I used after I get off work today.
