Rancho 9000xl shocks

So I have a 6" e-z ride life on my truck... Will rancho 9000xl shocks help the ride quality? I personally think the shocks that came with the lift are too stiff and the truck rides really rough. So I thought changing the shocks the the adjustable a would make a difference. Anyone have any input they would like to share with me? Before I spend 500 on new shocks.

Thanks
Aaron
